Who hasn’t sketched a table or chair as a child? Or selected the most comfortable boulder on the side of a river? Furniture design is FUN and it shows in these creations.
The steel dining table with the translucent plexiglass top has a very sexy stiletto-heeled leg.
Another dining table we made started out many years ago as a walnut tree on Palace Avenue. (The story of the harvest is in our blog.) We joined two large boards, leaving a live-edged gap in the center. Contrasting the natural loveliness of the walnut are geometric square-tube bronze legs. It’s all tied together with a bronze inlay in the center of the top.
