The physical harmony in this home is a tribute to the collaboration between Green Star Builders, a local designer and the homeowners who wanted to downsize and live more sustainably and in stronger connection to the outdoors.
The compact floor plan lives large because the designer and homeowner imagined carefully placed steel panels pivoting precisely or rolling smoothly in order to create elastic living spaces. Realizing these ideas required the innovation and craftsmanship of Jesse Gries and his crew. As the homeowner wrote, “The design would have been lost if the construction quality was less than perfect.”
